Ordered next day delivery through ebuyer. Part of delivery was was shipped through Yodel. Tracker said 'out for delivery' at around 8am. Tracker updated 13 HOURS later at 9pm saying delivery was attempted but were unable to gain timely access at around 6pm. This is in my opinion a blatant lie. They did not come to the door or even drive down my street. The other part of my order was shipped with Parcelforce, who not only managed to deliver the item, but gained timely access by actually driving to my door and ringing the doorbell - a concept lost on Yodel. I presumably now have to wait until TUESDAY for a redelivery attempt due to the easter holidays. I would come and collect it from the depot but I don't have the delivery card - obviously as no delivery attempt was ever made.
I placed an order with Tesco on Monday evening. I was informed that it would be delivered on Wednesday (next day delivery). It did not arrive. I called Tesco, and they informed me that Yodel was the agent. On Thursday, I called Yodel at 8 am and let them know that I required the order today as I had ordered wine for guests on the friday. They told me that I would definitely receive the order today, and not to worry.I left them my mobile number and directions to my house. I called at lunch time, and was assured that the order was definitely coming it had been loaded on to the van at 9.11am.and not to worry it was most certainly coming. I called again at 8pm and told the same story, and was assured it was most certainly still coming!!!!! Has it arrived? NO!!!! Does anyone at Yodel care? absolutely not!!!!!! Probably the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. DO NOT USE!!!!!!
Great service, arrived very quickly with nice polite and smiling delivery driver. I would definitely use to send. Very quick wasn't expecting it within 24 hours! Have received several parcels from Yodel now and all have been delivered as promised the same day of the text message, which is fab! I've always had Polite friendly delivery drivers too, which makes it even better!!
Love the fact that you are sent a text message to say the parcel is out for delivery. Would be even better if you could receive one the day before as a warning, but still good to receive a Heads-up about delivery!
I ordered the item and the next day I received an email to say the item was on its way with a reference number to track the delivery if I wanted. Upon delivery I received a text to say that the item had been delivered. I couldn't have received a better service. Thank you.
This is the second time I have paid for next day delivery & yodel have not delivered the next day. What is wrong with your drivers? The day I expected the 1st parcel from them, apparently a card was left as no one was home (according to online tracking), yet there was no card here and no van had even come down my street all day & I was home all day... LIARS!!! It then got delivered the next day, fortunately I had just got back from work in time & was actually suprised he bothered to deliver. I was expecting another parcel from yodel today, I waited in all day as I saw my delivery had been loaded on the van early this morning & I had paid for it to be delivered today ... have they delivered?? Of course they haven't ... the reason why I chose next day delivery is for it to be delivered THE NEXT DAY as I needed the items. Well done as now I will not have them in time.... and no doubt your driver will turn up tomorrow when it suits him & i'm not home! Absolutely useless, yet happy to charge you the extra for a service you're not getting. Customer service is also non existent with this lot. Drivers seem to just deliver when they fancy and lie to cover themselves! I expect a refund because of your incompetence to deliver in the timeframe you specified... you must be making extra money out of alot of people by saying you will deliver the next day, charging more for it then delivering within a 'standard delivery' timeframe which is half the price.
Wow. I could not believe the speed with which my parcel was delivered. I got a text message from Yodel at 11.20 this morning saying my parcel would be delivered in the next two working days. Anyway as it was the Thursday before Easter I thought next Wednesday would be good. Literally within 2 minutes of the text one of my colleagues came through with my parcel - just delivered!
Yodel tried delivery two days running I was out and they left a card after their 2nd attempt I arranged over the phone to pick it up today but guess what it had gone out on the van again.The gentleman at the depot tried to ring the driver but he had changed his number and not let the depot know so the gentleman said he would get someone to ring me and make sure the parcel was delivered tonight.Got home and no sign of a delivery took my dogs out and missed the delivery again and the card now says I have to pick it up at the depot.Yodel you really need to get your act together this is not good enough,even the chap at the depot said it does not always work when you arrange to pick up from the depot by the automated service,I have now spoken to someone in customer service who has promised me a call in the next 3 hours from a Manager,I will not hold my breath!
After an initial misunderstanding between Nestle and Yodel where a changed address was not implemented I tried to ring the Yodel number but as I'm working abroad and have bad phone lines in Zambia I couldn't get the automated voice to understand me. I then found a help email address on social media and Dani who assisted me could not have been nicer or more efficient. After a disappointing start to my experience with Yodel, Dani more than made up for it and I would definitely use your delivery service again.
I have been waiting for 3 days to get a fridge delivered...I have been in my apartment for 3 days, they have my address, they have my 2 phone numbers, I have left a A4 note on the front door of the building, I have stuck a big arrow indicating which buzzer to push.... NOTHING WORKS!!! I have been left now 3 notes saying "sorry we missed you".... YOU DID NOT MISS ME!! I suspect you did not try even try to deliver the parcel and are just sending a car round to drop off these notes...I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE YOUR GOODS!!!! I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD...
Parcels were due for pickup on 15 April but no one turned up. Contacted customer services but no picked up again on 16 April for these parcels or for the additional ones that were due for pick up on the 16 April. Contacted customer services to be told that according to the tracking information they been picked up so emailed my customers.. but no they hadn't - the Bristol Depot had just updated the tracking information to show that they had been picked up.... hoping that they will come today to pick them up.... I send orders every day but the pickup service is getting more and more intermittent (had the same experience several times before recently) which is a shame - especially as they are now showing items picked up on their online tracking system when they haven't been....
Very pleasant driver who had no issues with my large dog and was very polite. Yodels track service was very useful as I didn't have to waste time waiting in when I didn't need to. Id actually pay a little more from sellers that use Yode.l id give 10/10 very happy everytime.
Wrote a bad review for this company a couple of days ago as my parcel took 3 days from being given to them to it arriving on next day delivery where at the start got very little help, but after that i got a reply through the trustpilot from yodel. l and spoke to a very helpful person called Dani who, basically made my parcel arrive very quickly after that my speaking to her manager and delivery team and even rearranged the delivery for that day when I was not in,in the morning.So if you have a problem write a review here or email them and ask to speak to Dani!!! ( by the way I did not know her before she contacted me about my parcel!!)
Now waiting for the third day running for a delivery from Yodel Chessington. Contacted the company several times and was told that delivery on the 15th was never attempted even though a note being on the tracking to say card had been left. No card was left.
On the second day phone customer services at 9 pm to be told that the parcel was passed between two delivery drivers and again no attempt was made to deliver. Again on tracking history told unable to gain access.
Third day, rearranged delivery again. Told by customer services that parcel is out again for delivery even though on tracking is is still at delivery centre. I now assume I will have to do the hours drove to collect in person as this company seems unable to make deliveries.
How difficult is it to deliver a parcel when they have my full address and phone number. I ordered a package I checked the nominated next day delivery, which meant I had to pay £3 extra, which was fine because I really needed it the next day. I hardly left the house yesterday because I was worried it would come while I was out. At 7pm it still wasn't here. I looked on the yodel website and it said that i could arrive up to 9pm. I recieved a text saying that it would come yesterday and on MyYodel i tracked my parcel and it also said that it would come yesterday. 9pm no sign of it. I tried to call the customer services number and it took me to an automated machine. The machine told me to read out my tracking number, do I did. 7 times, it didn't recognise it once. I was VERY unhappy with the service. When people tick the box saying next day delivery, there is usually a reason why they NEED it by the next day. It is a day late and I STILL haven't received it.
I ordered a t-shirt through Amazon.co.uk on the 15th February, never did I expect to experience such a considerable amount of trouble in receiving this package, and better yet I still don't have it!. The tracking information stated that delivery had been attempted three times by the date I received your email, despite somebody being in the premises all three times so this claim is false. The tracking information for the item stated that it was at Yodel's service center. I've called this number several times over several days, only to receive an automated service asking for my tracking number which once given only informed that the tracking number did not exist, despite it working on their website, at which point the automated service disconnects the call. I've additionally tried several times to contact Yodel via the internet, where it consistently states no one is available to chat and doesn't give an email address to contact. Now the tracking information is stating that "service cannot be completed" and additionally that my parcel was delivered on 10th April at 10:06, again this claim is FALSE. I have gone from being inconvenienced and annoyed to downright angry with this shambolic process.
Yodel failed to deliver and claim to have left a card.
I was in all day and received 2 other packages throughout the day. No sign of a failed delivery card anywhere. More than likely they never even attempted the delivery. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is 3rd time this has happened.
