The quality of these dresses are fantastic and I would highly recommend as well as this dress to anyone.My wedding is not for a while so I will get the girls to try them on and then take photos.In regards to the postage, it was great! I ordered this dress in red for my ball dress and was so amazed when it arrived. the quality of the dress is incredible and it is identical to the picture,it is a very flattering style, the color is beautiful, and everyone I have shown it to is surprised that it was ordered online. I have friends that are going to order of here now, and i will definitely let others now about this wonderful site.
I ordered five bridesmaid dresses & agree i could return within 3 days if they were no good. The dresses were awfuk very badly made. I agreed with the company to return for a full refund,despite the agreed refund i returned the dresses & was contacted by DHL who said the dresses were in China's customs & the company is refusing to release the documentation to have the dresses returned. Despite numerous eamils to the company, they are ignoring me & refusing to release the dresses. I have now no bridesmaid dresses or refund of £450.00, so i have lost it all! do not order from this comany, i have no idea how they are allowed to trade like this in the uk.
Rule #, I should always listen to my gut feelings and trust my instincts (which I did not do in this case).
I read several reviews about dressespro, some good, some bad.
Now here's my story! I ordered two dresses for my brother's wedding, a short cocktail dress for the rehearsal dinner and an evening gown. Both were custom made. I am very tall (6'2) and it is very hard for me to find dresses that are long enough or fit in proportion. If a dress has a real waistline, usually it is on my ribcage - I am simply tall.
I gave them exact measurements, more than one usually would (e.g. distance collarbones to top of my "boobs"/distance to the bottom; measured from the side armpit to waist).
The dresses arrived on time about two weeks prior to the wedding which would be enough time to do minimal alterations. I tried on the short dress first and it fit like a glove. I was happy. Then I put on the evening dress and my bubble burst.
The evening dress (a one-shouldered, sweetheart neckline, then empire like) appears to be way easier in construction than the fitted short dress, however it is completely messed up.
But first things first... I put on the dress and it's long enough - wow, they got one thing right.
I then walked to the mirror. First thing I noticed (the dress shows a lot of my back) that the part of the one-shoulder strap sticks out, there is an excess of fabric of 2.5 inches. The dress is low cut. But the execution is so poorly that inside flips out and shows my butt crack. So that's what I noticed first. I took pictures of my back with my phone, which was hard to do but at least it displayed the problem at the shoulder and bottom.
Let's remember, the other dress fits perfectly. Two orders that arrived at the same time - one fits, the other one is a disaster. So I wrote a complaint and the answer is so ridiculous, I almost have to laugh about it:

So somebody please answer this for me... My measurements were exact, which the short dress shows. So obviously, it isn't my fault. They say, they don't know if it was their fault or not. Then whose fault is it? The Holy Ghost's? Santa's? I mean ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
And BTW, 10 % discount would be round about 13 Euros (that's about 16,50 $). So maybe in China it is possible to get stuff altered for 16 $. In Germany I can barely get my pants hemmed for 13. This is ridiculous.
So at first I never realized that there is an issue with the dress at the front, something that can't exactly be altered easiely or if at all. So my neighbor was kind enough to take pictures of me and after they replied to me for the first time I already announced I would send more pictures.
So while I was upset about the back I never looked closely at the front. So yesterday I had also to realize that the cussion on the side of the shoulder is higher than the other and it looks like my boob on the side of the strap is higher than the other one. it isn't a real sweetheart neckline and probably THAT problem wouldnt have occured if they wouldnt have placed rushing over that side - you can see it better if you compare the pic of the original dress.
Yesterday I sent them an e-mail with all these pictures and I told them that this is NOT a question about size or measurements. This is a question of poor execution and 10% won't get me anywhere. I want to return the dress (oh yeah, the website says you can't).
Now I wonder how they can argue that it is a size or measurement problem from my side, IF as you can see, the other dress fits perfectly. I still haven't heard back from them.
My brother is getting married next week. What am I gonna wear? NO clue. I am a student, i don't have money flying around.
I want my money back. But that probably isn't going to happen.
So this company is hit and miss. As you can see with my order. One good, one horrible.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
This is a great company!!! At first I choose one dress in stock, but they told me the dress was out of stock. They could make it for me, though it took a few more days, I like it very much and it fitted me! Their customer's service is patient!

Despite the delivery of my dress being delayed by several weeks, it arrived yesterday, the party is tonight, and looks absolutely amazing! It was slightly on the larger side on the hips but I did give a little extra on my measurements 'just in case' and I have a great seamstress that is taking it in for me as I write this review....She commented on how well the dress was made!!
Can't wait to wear my dress this evening. Although worried it would not be here in time, it is and I'm over the moon with it! It's just like the original

We stumbled upon the Dressespro site and were amazed at the dresses we saw there. My daughter fell in love with one particular dress and we decided to order it.
I emailed a query regarding sizing and the reply was back within a couple of hours. We ordered and were able to track the dress as it made its way to us - it arrived within a few days When we opened the parcel we were absolutely delighted with the dress.
It was as beautiful in real life as it was in the photos. We are truly thrilled with our purchase and will be placing another order later.

I ordered what I though would be a gorgeous unique dress for my brother's wedding in April 2012. I ordered dress online in January and was so excited when it arrived in February. I opened it to my horror it had MULTIPLE STAINS all over the dress and SWEAT STAINS under the armpits and had CLEARLY BEEN WORN - it was in disgusting condition!!! :O( In additon, it had an invoice which stated it cost £28 to make (I paid £112.10!!!). When I contacted them, they suggested I get it DRY CLEANED?!!! I also had to pay £15, which I wasn't refunded to send the dress back to China and then fight to get a refund back, which despite repeated instruction, they credited to a Paypal account, which I don't use!! Please DO NOT use this company, they are not reputable and the dress itself without stains was of v poor quality!
Absolutely horrendous quality, service and experience! My girlfiend and i bought 2 dresses in the summer, which turned up on the final deadline day (and im pretty sure that only happend because i reminded them the week before, although that may explain the panic rush & shoddy results!) both stuffed into a bag so tightly that had that been the day of the event (which as far as they were concerned it was!) there was no way they could have been worn as they were creased beyond any sate that could be cured by pressing at home!
Anyway that was the least of the issues as one dress was about 5 sizes too big (no exaggeration!!) and the other was bout 3 sizes too big, whcih given that we had provided 100% accurate measurements (carried by a professional seamstress) was frankly laughable! Whats even more laughable is that we had supplied the same measurements twice (i.e. seperately for each dress on the same order) so any muppet should be able to tell that both dresses were for the same person, so not only were the measurements totally ignored they didint even carry out the simple check of comaparing them with each other! That kind of incompetence really takes effort!! One of photos attached...i can laugh about it now so feel free to join me! In who's tiny mind is that even likely to be a UK size 10?!
The quality of both dresses was also diabolical; one of the dresses had been threaded quite badly in places as they had clearly used off cuts from other shoddy dresses and as far as the beading was concerned they would have been more symetrical if they has just covered the beads in glue and thrown them at the dress!!
I did get a full refund in the end but only after several emails and much shouting and arguing (and even that took about 9 attempts to get anyone on the UK number!) and that was despite their initial concession that the dresses were clearly too big in the photos that we provided! They actually had the audacity to suggest that one of the dresses was good enough (despite their previous admission they werent!) and they would only refund one of the dresses! Once i corrected their outrageous attitude they still managed to screw up the refund and sent it to an incorrect paypal account (dont even start me on those idiots!) rather than refundung it to the card that was used.
A joke from start to finish and i wouldnt recommend using them.
This is dress is using for my new year's eve. Because I think the dress is beautiful and affordable.
When I receive it, I can't believe my eyes, they are so gorgeous.
I will wear it and send some pictures to them.

Ordered the dress for my daughter for her pony club prom in November 2011. Fantastic customer service, queried measurements which I had got wrong and kept me informed all the way from order to delivery. Only took 10 days to arrive, dress was absolutely gorgeous, fitted perfectly and she loved it.

The made to measure dress arrived even earlier than expected and was even nicer than on the web site. It fitted perfectly and everyone had commented on how nice it was. This dress is lovely. I got it for my senior prom in 'pearl pink'. I personally am not into the flowers, but they were easy to remove! This dress is very feminie and flowing but not poofy. I love it! :)

I wouldn't order from here again. The dress arrived a week AFTER my stated 'event date.' It came screwed up in a ball...not really a problem because it steamed out. I asked for a custom fit dress and checked my measurements several times before I sent them off.. but the dress was too big and I had to spend more money getting it altered. The dress doesn't look like the picture. The decoration on it was cheap - looked like random off-cuts of material stuck on without any thought and there wasn't enough beading. The bust-line wasn't straight, so the whole dress just looked a bit strange on. The material of the actual dress was nice - nice feel and color. I think the dress would have been lovely if they had spent more time making it and paid more attention to measurements. If you do order from here, order 5 months in advance, be prepared to make many alterations and I'd advise to buy a plain dress with no decoration
This company has ruined my wedding which is tomorrow, I ordered my dress in plenty of time back in January. Was told 2 days ago it will be shipped NEXT WEEK, after my wedding. I have been running around all day today to try to find a dress for tomorrow, I'm exhausted and very upset.... would never, ever recommend this company to anyone else
I ordered a prom dress for my daughter on 28/01/11 with an event date of 28/04 - which is now 3 days away and I have still not had confirmation that my order number 1582 has been shipped. I have e-mailed two or three times and get "please don't worry! you can receive the dress before the event date! we will send the tracking number to you after ship your dress.Hope for your understanding!" It clearly states that it takes 5 days for shipping so now there is no chance. My daughter now has no dress and is very very upset indeed. It has ruined a day which is supposed to be very special and it has left her feeling stressed out and upset. If you have a deadline do not use this company as they can not be relied upon. At the end of the day I suppose you get what you pay for and I certainly wouldn't try to do something so important on the cheap again - it really isn't worth it. So very very disappointed.
I ordered my dress on the 31st of January. It is now the 8th of April and it is still not here. As you can probably tell that is a lot more than the specified 47 days. It's for my year 11 prom so it is crucial that it gets here before the event, i have emailed the company 4 times now and, like Jodie, I was told my dress would be rushed. Nothing happened. It's becoming more than ridiculous as all of my friends have their dresses now and are out buying shoes and bags, I cannot do this until i have my dress so it is a huge inconvenience. Based on my experience with this company so far I would not advise buying from them. If it doesn't arrive within the next two weeks I will become seriously worried.
Ordered my dress with on 10th February which gave 8 weeks leeway for my event which is on the 7th April. Was emailed saying it would take approx. 30 days to be made and sent. Weeks passed and I didn't hear anything from them, so emailed them about 5-6 weeks after my order to ask when the dress would arrive. Only to receive a reply of 'don't worry your dress will arrive on time'. Emailed them again a few days later only to receive the same reply. Event is now in 5 days and still no email to say whether the dress was sent, so I spoke on the 'live chat' with an assistant and they said the dress would be shipped the day BEFORE the event! When I said that would be no good as the dress would not arrive on time they only replied with 'sorry' and gave me no advice on what to do next. I asked them if I could cancel my order, but have received no email as to whether they have done so or whether they were giving my money back. I am absolutely disgusted with the way the company have handled this considering a friend of mine ordered a dress from the same place 2 weeks AFTER me and receieved it almost 2 weeks ago!
i have recieved my dress, it was beautiful and was a great fit. it is all i hoped it would be.

It has been 8 weeks since I ordered my dress and it STILL hasn't arrived. Emailed Dressespro multiple times and, granted the did reply, but said my order would be rushed. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything since!
Do not use this company. Disappointment.
